Transitioning to Vegan One Step at a Time

An acquaintance asked me the other day, “Don’t you miss eating normal food? I could never eat such a restrictive diet,” her expression filled with a mix of indignation and curiosity. We all have our different reasons for why we eat what we eat. Some of us use food as a way to find comfort.
The journey toward a plant-based lifestyle doesn't have to happen overnight. It is about progress, not perfection. By focusing on adding whole foods to your plate rather than just subtracting, you can rewire your cravings and discover a new world of taste.
Start with one meal at a time. Maybe commit to a plant-based breakfast for a week. Your biology will thank you, and as the quote goes: "Your biography becomes your biology. This biography includes the totality of your choices."
